We’re looking for a Senior Artist to join our team on the next installment of a renowned FPS franchise set in a modern-day, realistic military environment. 

AS ONE OF THE #QLOCDRAGONS YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • creating efficient, game-ready assets (textured 3D assets, materials, textures)
  • following artistic and technical guides to maintain consistency throughout the game
  • working with production to prioritize work and maintain a clear and consistent schedule
  • optimizing game assets for performance
  • working independently on assigned tasks without needing artistic feedback, while coordinating complex tasks and providing guidance and support to junior team members
  • supervising strike team of 2-3 people if needed
  • providing artistic guidance and feedback to team members
  • collaborating with other departments of the company.
WHAT DO WE REQUIRE OF YOU?

Hard Skills:

  • experience in full game production cycle from concept to final
  • proficiency in industry-standard modeling tools (Maya, Blender, or equivalent)
  • experience with the Adobe Substance toolset (Substance Painter, Substance Designer)
  • ability to create photorealistic materials based on reference images
  • experience in modular architecture and environment building
  • strong prop creation skills
  • preferably experienced in physicalized, destructible assets
  • ability to bake clean normal maps from high- and mid-poly assets
  • experience with custom engines and engine tools, including setting up assets in-engine.

 

Soft Skills:

  • ability to provide reliable time estimates for tasks
  • skilled in constructive feedback and guiding others to improve
  • willingness to help team members facing technical challenges
  • self-organized, independent, and responsible in workflow management.
